Items

Not all goods and services are eligible for a refund. With the field Ineligible for Tax Free the user marks items that are excluded from the issuing of a Tax Free Form.

Marking on the item

The user opens the Retail Item Card and activates the field [Ineligible for Tax Free] on the [Invoicing] FastTab.

Marking on the item category

The user can also set the marking on the item category. The field [Ineligible for Tax Free] is available in the retail item categories overview and then applies to all items of the category.

Effect

If a transaction contains at least one item marked in this way, the solution refuses to issue a Tax Free Form and names the affected item number. In this case the user creates a separate receipt for the eligible items.

Note

Transactions that contain only service items are generally not eligible for tax free and are rejected by the solution.
