DMS SharePoint App Credentials

The SharePoint app credentials define the authentication between the Business Central tenant and the SharePoint Online tenant.

DMS Connector SharePoint Setup

There are three categories within the DMS SharePoint Setup section. You can find the current version of the Connector in the General section. Furthermore, here you can define the process number needed to link documents over an extended timespan, e.g., starting with the order and ending with the posted invoice. In the section of Upload attempts you can view parameters regarding the upload of records. Additionally, you can find a License Information section here as well. Further information will follow in the section about the setup of the connector.

(deprecated) DMS SharePoint Table Setup

For each Business Central table, metadata and SharePoint content types are mapped during the DMS SharePoint table setup. The existing structure is read and assigned to the existing folder structure. Furthermore, the folder structure is configured here depending on the content type. One table setup always refers to one Business Central table and, if applicable, the associated rows table. Multiple table setups can be created per Business Central table. Further information will follow in the section regarding the table setup.

(new) DMS Archive Setup

The DMS Archiving enables the archiving of documents that are sent by e-mail or released. Scheduled archiving, e.g. for posted documents, is also possible. (see DMS Archive Setup).

DMS Report Archive Setup

The DMS PDF Report Archiving is used to generate record documents from posted ones. These documents can be automatically stored in SharePoint Online.

DMS User Setup

The DMS User Setup controls which user is granted permissions to delete records in SharePoint Online.
