General Information

With the DMS Connector, documents such as invoices, delivery bills or external documents and emails can be easily linked to master data and processes from Business Central Online and transferred to Microsoft SharePoint. For optimized retrieval, all documents are tagged with keywords before transfer. Scanned documents from daily incoming mail can also be easily viewed in your ERP system and assigned to their appropriate processes.

In addition to the manual placement of files (via drag & drop), documents such as outgoing invoices can also be uploaded automatically from your ERP environment to the DMS. SharePoint thus provides a central data repository for administration and audit-proof archiving. Even without direct access to your ERP system, your colleagues have insight into all documents that are within their authorization. You always work in your familiar Microsoft Dynamics environment - all documents are accessible both from the ERP environment and in SharePoint.
