DMS Permissions

The DMS Connector for Document Capture with SharePoint includes a permission set that extends the permissions of the DMS Connector for SharePoint:

  • The permission set extends the permission set DMSSPBasicSPTDMS from the DMS Connector for SharePoint with the necessary permissions for Document Capture integration.

Assigning Permissions

If your users already have the permission set DMSSPBasicSPTDMS from the DMS Connector for SharePoint, no additional assignment is required. The permission set automatically extends the existing DMS permissions with the Document Capture functionality.

If the DMS Connector for SharePoint has not yet been set up or new users are being added, please refer to the DMS Permission Structures Documentation for information on assigning the basic permissions.
